- Typical History buff - I love anything old, be it as big as a building or as small as a button. Generally though, I do prefer things from the 30s, 40s and 50s because they were such stylish decades. I collect old books (and a lot of new ones!), though not in any serious "I want it because it's rare" kind of way - more just to have them. And I would love, love, LOVE to travel but don't have the money. Alas...

wow someone who thinks like me.. I love you blog! and the title is something I toyed with a friend in France who for 5 years now we have shared what we call POTDor you know..photo of the day, mostly being glass negs we both so feverishly collect. I am more interested in other photo blogs than my own and your is sooo bookmarked for further and future looking! please come see myphoto blog as well, it covers many subjects but keeps coming back to vintage photos which is what I have been selling for 5 years now on ebay. Marianne, your photo blog is wonderful! I absolutely love the Koi Pond photo; it's so beautiful!! And yes, vintage photos have a definite attraction so I completely understand why you sell them on eBay - it must be fascinating!
