- Typical History buff - I love anything old, be it as big as a building or as small as a button. Generally though, I do prefer things from the 30s, 40s and 50s because they were such stylish decades. I collect old books (and a lot of new ones!), though not in any serious "I want it because it's rare" kind of way - more just to have them. And I would love, love, LOVE to travel but don't have the money. Alas...

Hello Maria! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply to your comment. I really don't know how much help I could be on the subject of Croatians in Chicago - I simply liked the photo and the story behind it. I'm afraid I don't remember where I found the picture either. Sorry for being so unhelpful!
