I agree - it must have been amazing to be there! I doubt there'd ever be a similar situation nowadays, as things are just too controlled, too 'stage managed'.
I mean, these guys were essentially just messing around, being creative by themselves, without any sort of entourage present to control the 'product'.

Typical History buff - I love anything old, be it as big as a building or as small as a button. Generally though, I do prefer things from the 30s, 40s and 50s because they were such stylish decades. I collect old books (and a lot of new ones!), though not in any serious "I want it because it's rare" kind of way - more just to have them. And I would love, love, LOVE to travel but don't have the money. Alas...
